Rachel Rebecca is a Muralist and Artist in the Shenandoah Valley. She graduated with a BA in Art and Art History from Dickinson College. Her art reflects her colorful life. She has sold her artwork nationwide. Her mural portfolio is growing with a highlight on WHSV TV 3 for her mural at the Chamber of Commerce located in Woodstock, VA. Rachel Rebecca Fitzsimmons gravitates to the wonders of mysticism and spirituality. Her art reflects her diverse background in spiritual traditions. People have said that she brings other realms of existence onto a canvas. Her use of bright colors and evocative subject matter creates a fun and whimsical play with the viewer.

She captures the sensuality of nature through her meaningful symbolism. People admire her methodology of how well she conveys emotion and storytelling.

Rachel graduated with a BA in Art and Art History from Dickinson College. After college she took a break from producing art and went to the Shenandoah Valley School of Therapeutic Massage in 2009.

After graduating from massage school, she studied for four months at a BON Buddhist retreat center at a remote location in France.

When she arrived back in the United States, she continued her studies with Dr. Fernand Poulin in Integrative Energy Medicine and received a two year certification in IEM. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Kerala, India. After a pelvic injury, Rachel was left physically compromised and turned to drawing, painting and sculpture again. She also traveled to various places abroad such as Italy and Nepal to connect with her artistic soul once again. She picked up where she left off in college with a new perspective of spirituality, travel, and working through chronic pain. She is now an artist, energy healer, and yoga teacher here in Woodstock, VA. She has shown at various locations in the Shenandoah Valley and beyond, and her art is now a worldwide commodity.
